Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center is one of the favourite attractions in the Orlando area. See the Saturn 5 rocket, go inside a pace shuttle and experience the feeling of a launch in the huge Imax Cinema. Or perhaps even witness an actual rocket launch!


Orlando Science Center

Orlando is about midway between the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, so you can get to a beach in about 1.5 hours in either direction. Why not try out Cocoa Beach, when you visit the Kennedy Space Centre. The Circle B Bar Reserve, on the northwest shore of Lake Hancock, is a former cattle ranch that today boasts a wide variety of plants and animals. You can see several distinct ecosystems in this reserve of only 1,267 acres. You're almost guaranteed to see alligators in Lake Hancock, often considered the headwaters of the Peace River, which flows more than 100 miles from Polk County southwest to the Gulf of Mexico. And it is totally FREE to visit!
